Greetings fellow Horror fiends & Filmmakers;) Here's
some info about a new Horror Antholgy I'm producing with the goal
of helping other independent horror filmmakers (myself included;)
get their stuff out there:)

BiFF JUGGERNAUT Productions is now accepting submissions
for "LovecraCked! The Movie", a feature length DVD anthology
dedicated to the life & work of influential horror author H.P.
Lovecraft.

There is no fee for submission. The goal of this project is to offer
all short films included on the DVD an opportunity to reach a
greater audience than would normally be afforded to any individual
short film.

For info on how to submit click the link below:

SUBMISSION INFO! (http://www.biffjuggernaut.com/submission.htm)

For an advance look at the Anthology, you can check
out the trailer for our own short at the following link...

TRAILER! (http://www.biffjuggernaut.com/main.htm)

Feel free to write me at [email protected] with
any questions or comments. We look forward to seeing your films!

P.S. We will accept cans of Spam as entries for this project, but it
is somewhat unlikely that there will be room for it in this
particular DVD Anthology, unless we're really hardup for content of course;)

I sure hope you obtained permission to use that copywritten & trademarked Spam pic, though, because we all know how vengeful & vindictive the makers of that fine product can be, eh?;)

You spammed. You know you spammed. Don't change the subject.

I talked about a project I'm working on, which I'd like to get others involved in... so that's "spam", eh?

Well there're no services being sold here, no penis enlargers or other such parafanalia, no free ipods, no nothing, just an attempt to get some filmmakers together.

Different strokes for different folks I guess so why don't we just leave it at that then.

"Vini, vidi, vici" (roughly translated "I came, I saw, I spammed").
You'll have little if any luck getting participants here. Try, Fango or B-Independent. This place is more of a madhouse of flame fights. Good luck though. I'll pull out my old Lovecraft books and re-read if there's something that catches my attention to submit.

Where are you in Brooklyn ? My mom's from Sheepshead Bay originally.

Well one man's spam is another man's... Spam is in the eye of the... A spam in the hand is worth... Awww what the heck, we're never going agree on this item so then enough with all the colorful metaphor, eh?

Thanks for the advice, I haven't tried B-Independent yet.

I had a feeling when I joined after reading some of the posts that flaming was going to be a bit of a habit here, et tu, my dear MisterSadistro, et tu;) Fitting name by the way;) Believe it or not though, my intention when joining wasn't solely for the purpose of self promotion:P

Pulling out the dust covered old Lovecraft tomes, eh? Were you thinking potentially of producing a short Lovecraft flick then? By all means, by all means. Just make sure it's tongue in cheek if you want to submit it for the project, though:)

Williamsburg, Brooklyn houses me and my allegedly evil spamming ways, by the way:)

You gotta admit some of my spam jokes were kinda funny weren't they?

Spam is never a laughing matter LOL (esp if you're new around here). I'm a filmmaker myself & obviously have quite the sense of humor :D I'll re-read some tonight before I go to sleep and see what would be possible.

By the way...

Our submission deadline for the anthology isn't until June 30th, 2005 so if you're considering making a short film or animation specifically to submit for this project, I encourage you to do so, but please try to have your short film or animation completed and in the mail by our June 30th deadline, otherwise I unfortunately cannot guarantee that you will be considered for this anthology.

Got a special circumstance or just some questions or comments?

Feel free to write me at [email protected] and let me know what's on your mind:)

Also, anyone interested in reading some of Lovecraft's short stories can do so for free at this most excellent site...

I look forward to seeing some great Lovecraftian flicks:)

I will be more likely to answer your quesions on another board by my real name (DVP). Around here, I only help other people with getting their films made and flame the shit out of noobs who spam purposely. See you on Fango and don't take it personal when I ask you to KEEP THE SPAM OUTTA HERE !!!

45 Days left to submit your shorts, folks! Remember, films don't have to be directly based on Lovecraft or his work to be considered as long as they're at least somewhat Lovecraftian in nature. Still not sure if your short qualifies? Just drop us a quick email ([email protected]) with a brief synopsis of your film and we'll get back to you asap to let you know.
