Okay, I saw this "movie" this past weekend, for free thank god.

Has anyone else seen it? Does anyone else agree that it sucked hardcore? With the exception of the x-men movies, it seems everything mrs stamos touches turns to shit. Also, that kid was a terrible actor, and the plot.....if you can call it that... Was more holey than a friggin collander.

For anyone who hated the new Dawn of the Dead, i suggest watching it right after Godsend. You will think "well, at least it wasnt as bad as Godsend".

I personally love DOTD, so if you think people who liked it only like shit, just imagine how bad a movie is if i think it was worse.

i loved the DOTD remake.
Watching godsend was like having a supernatural being steal money from your wallet and robbing you of 90 minutes of your life while you are powerless to do anything about it.

It was a corn filled turd.

the choice of the kid was insane ..
It takes more than a freaky looking kid to make a horror movie.
In fact it would have been a hell of a lot more effective if they had a normal looking kid. I got the feeling that the filmmakers casted this little creep and clapped each other on the back thinking, 'hell, we're half way there already - we dont even have to care about the plot now .. look how freaky this kid is !'.
As a matter of fact, lets just have him smile that creepy smile on camera for 30 minutes or so..

At least Cold Creek Manor was so bad you could laugh ...

That fucking kid..... Why would you cast a kid as an 8 year old when he looks 12 or older? Granted, he is now 11, which means he was 10 when the movie was filmed (probably). He is a boy, though, so unless they have some gary-coleman-esque disease that stunts them, they look years apart in age when they are years apart in age. A ten year old boy looks like a 10 year old, not an 8 year old.

I seriously was thinking "what the fuck...?" when the movie was over....

I am SO glad i didnt pay to see it.

Damn! I really could have been doing something more useful.... Like surfing the web for pics of creamsicles.... or counting blades of grass.... or trying to catch water with a net....

at least you wouldnt have had that empty feeling inside :)

seriously though .. if you want to see one of the worst 'thrillers'
(i'm using that term in the aging porno queen loosest way possible) check out Cold Creek Manor.

It does have a huge payoff in a scene with snakes ..
all i can say is that it is one of the funniest things that I've seen in a movie in a long time - intentional or not.

You'll never be able to look at Dennis Quaid the same way again.

I havent looked at him the same way for a quite a while now.... Definatley not the same guy who was in "Inner Space"..

Although, The Day After Tomorrow was quite enjoyable...

i have never seen a respected actor give a more embarrasing performance in my life - as him in CC Manor .. you HAVE to see it.

just dont hate me for it .. like i said theres just one 5 min scene that has to do with snakes. ..
and there is a drunk scene where he looks and acts exactly like Steve Martin in the Jerk ...

unbelievable.

if it was me and i saw the daily rushes ... i would have burned them, and killed anyone who saw them.

HEY NINE! :) long time, no see.

I think DeNiro's punishment for Godsend should be that he has to star with Rebecca in another movie. He can handle a couple of blemishes on his carreer.

Her carreer,however, IS a blemish.
