Unreal 3 Engine Images ***56kers big pics so beware**

These shots are pretty awesome. They were taken during a game test. The game will not be out till sometime during 2006 I think,
but thats a good thing, since the highest spec gaming graphics card available to the public is a 6800 Ultra atm.
The game has been run on an Ultra card, but it was crippled. Some of the outside shots below ran at about 2 - 3 fps on the Ultra card.

Since the game wont be out for a while though, hardware will have improved by then.

Oh and btw, see the bottom pic, that monster with the gun on its back, contains more polygons than an entire level from the original Unreal !!! :eek:
(polygons are what you can see in the pic with just the wire diagram and no graphics)

yeah, about 4500 of them :D

and gameplay will change, all the advancement in enemy A.I will improve quite a lot.
with a lot of new games out now and in the futrue, it aint gona be a case of run and open fire to blast the hell out of the enemies,
cos they'll be able to anticipate what we're gona be doing, and dodge us.

Oh jesus, its bad enough that in hl the bastards flanked you, next they'll be figuring lead angle and shooting at you through walls.

think I saw a vid of HL2 and this fat monster was using
Telekinesis to pick up filing cabinetes and barrels and launch them straight at you.
